What are your thoughts towards New School Rnb vs. Oldschool Rnb as far back as the 90's up until now?
Old School R&B was about personal feelings, they sung somethin they really went thru and they put their heart out into the music, made the music cuz it was their passion.. New School R&B seems like ppl jus tryna remake ppl's music and get a $$, not alot of artist show that passion in their music...
Do you consider yourself a role model and How so?
I think I consider myself as one, I may not do things to talk to younger girls or talk to them in groups but I know when I'm out or at functions I see the way they look at me n make nice comments about how I am and their parents comment on my appearance and how i carry myself.. Adults like the way I carry myself.. I'd like to talk to younger girls going thru things...
What advice do you have for women younger and older than you?
Advice for the younger women would be for them to keep a good head on their shoulders and never let anyone r man distract them from their goals n dreams, not let their body get misused n dont give up ur precious gift until they r ready to... stay in school n listen to the ones that love them deeply (family).. to the Women older me, i'd tell them to remain positive role models for the younger women, keep striving more for life becuz they got that far n to continue on thier paths.. whatever they're doin in their doing in their private life should remain so... and 2 both
Would you ever travel outside of the United States. If so where and what would you do there?
On a personal level I wanna go to Paris and see the beautiful places around the world.... Umm I also wanna go to Africa and Haiti, b/c those places gets no love at all and they want u to believe the bad shit they show on tv... Outside of wat we see, they are proud of where they come from and grateful for the lil they have, If i could i'd help myself
Do you feel where your located at is suffering from economical woes?
Im in the South so i feel we are suffering the most and money wise of course and with our school systems and major cut backs that we really need
